HomeWatch ensures that your property is secure, monitored and well-maintained while you’re away on business or vacation.
Exterior: General
- Walk the property and check the overall security of your home.
- Ensure all windows and doors are secure.
- Bring in newspapers, junk mail and flyers.
- Remove debris from driveway, walkways and sidewalk.
Exterior: Visual Inspection
- Check for signs of vandalism or forced entry.
- Exterior lights checked.
- Look for signs of wind and/or water damage.
- Check exterior faucet for leaks or icing.
- Visually examine roof and fascia.
- Visually examine paint, stain and caulking from ground up.
- Visually examine gates and fencing.
- Additionally, if you have a pool or hot tub we can check the levels and the filtering systems.
Interior: General
- Monitor thermostats and ensure temperature.
- Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Check fire extinguishers expiry date and record.
- Laundry – open lid check for leaks.
- Check for unusual sounds, odors or signs of mold.
- Check for power outage.
Interior: Visual Inspection
- Check for signs of vandalism or forced entry.
- Check windows/doors to ensure they are free of condensation.
- Ensure all ceiling, wall, floor and storage areas are free of moisture, pest infestation.
Garage
- Walk through inspection.
Mechanical Rooms
- Monitor sump pump, hot water tank and HVAC.
- Inspect electrical panel—reset if necessary.
Kitchen
- Run faucet(s).
- Check sink(s) and appliances for leaks.
- Check operation of refrigerator(s) and freezer(s).

- Check sink(s) for leaks.
