Buying Tips

If you’re thinking of buying a home, you’ve come to the right place.  Once you’re ready to buy, Chris can guide you through the whole process.  Here are some tips to help to make sure you’re ready.

Make sure you’re ready.

Are you ready? Be sure. Nothing beats the pride and joy of owning a home, but the responsibility can also present certain sacrifices.  From the financial commitment to the required maintenance, you’ll want to make sure that both fit within your current lifestyle.

Is your bank account ready? Check it twice. Buying a home is likely the biggest and most important investment you’ll make in your life. Do it right and avoid regretting taking on more than you should.

Is now a good time to buy? The market goes up and down, but if you’re buying a home for long-term investment (or long-term enjoyment) you should be protected from short-term market changes.  So, focus on picking a home that suits you and your family’s needs.

Decide what you want.

Where do you want to live?  Downtown where you can walk to work?  In the suburbs where the backyards are big? Choose a location that best suits your needs.

What type of home do you want? Single-family detached? Townhouse? Condo? Choose a type that suits your needs.
